I got to craft a toy for a fellow crafter's child! Hooray! No worrying about whether the parents might think I was being stingy, safe in the knowledge that I know she knows, you know?
This cute little guy ("blossom bunny"), was from softies and gave me the opportunity to try out satin stitch, backstitch, blanket stitch and a few failed attempts at french knots. I think he was the perfect size for an active little one-year-old's grip.
For more creative spaces pop over to the hostess with the mostest, Kirsty.

Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with french knots too, but everyone I mention this too says they are easy. XX
He's really cute. After all that embroidery I am glad he's going to a home that will appreciate the love that went into it!
ReplyDeleteBlogger is being silly and won't show me you post on my reading list? Silly reading list.
ReplyDeleteI love this little bunny! Such a cutie and great fabrics! I know the feeling though, giving a handmade toy to someone who may not appreciate it verses giving it to someone who will love it. :)
